Frequently Asked Questions

We supply and maintain fruit machines (digital & reel), pool tables, jukeboxes, quiz machines, boxing/prize machines and a wide range of arcade/amusement equipment for pubs, clubs, hotels, holiday parks and commercial venues.

We’re based in Blackpool and cover the North West as our primary service area — please contact us if you’re outside that region and we’ll confirm whether we can help or arrange delivery.

We do not offer short-term domestic hire for fruit machines. We do sell machines suitable for home use on ebay, but our hire services are intended for long-term commercial placements and venues.

Supply, maintenance and commercial operation of gaming machines is regulated. Suppliers/operators often hold Gambling Commission licences; whether your venue needs a permit depends on the machine category and your premises licence. We’re fully licensed as a supplier/operator and will help you understand any local permits that may be required.

We provide maintenance and repair as part of our service. If a machine faults we aim to repair or replace it quickly to minimise downtime. Our on-going service and monitoring keep machines earning and up-to-date.

Yes – we specialise in long-term commercial placements under profit-share models for venues.  We do not supply short-term domestic fruit-machine hires.

Call us on 0333 200 3340 or email info@diamondleisure.co.uk with venue details, preferred machines, and we’ll arrange a free site survey. We will discuss the best options with you to maximise profits for your venue.

Yes. In the UK, pubs must have the correct permission to operate fruit machines (also known as amusement-with-prizes or AWP machines). If your premises has an alcohol licence, you can usually install up to two Category C or D machines by notifying your local council and paying a small annual fee — this is called the automatic entitlement. For more than two machines, you’ll need a licensed premises gaming machine permit from the council. The supplier (such as Diamond Leisure) must be licensed by the Gambling Commission, and players must be 18+ for Category C fruit machines.

We offer both 7ft × 4ft (standard UK pub/league size) and 6ft × 3ft tables for venues with limited space. These are the norms used throughout the pub trade and by competitors in Lancashire and the North West.

We recommend at least 4.5 ft (1.4 m) clearance around the table to allow unrestricted play. For a 7 × 4 ft table, total space of around 16 × 12 ft gives players room to cue properly.
